Basic Research Fields

Coupled Human Body Cloks

Coupled Human Body Clocks

-

Emerging Nuclear Technology: such as Hybrid Nuclear Reactors to burn Nuclear Waste, particularly Minor Actinides. New technology for less invasive Brachitherapy, both from the production point of view (new radioisotopes) as well as new technologies (nano brachitherapy).

Non Linear Phenomena: I have been working on Modeling Human biorhythms, particularly the sleep-awake cycle considering the coupling of several internal body clocks. Also Models of  Urban Traffic for cities based on fuel efficiency as the main parameter. At an early stage there is the development of Models for Crime in Society as behavioral response to time history.

Development of Technologies for optimization of energy systems, based on efficiency as well as mix of renewable and sustainable sources of energy. Food safety based on technologies derived from particle accelerators.
